Dental Assistant – Specialist Orthodontist
Permanent Position - Full Time
Smart Orthodontics is a long-established Orthodontic practice in South Australia, providing specialist orthodontic services to patients across the city, suburban and rural locations. We are committed to providing high quality orthodontic treatment in a friendly and caring environment.
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our professional and caring team of hygienists, assistants and administration staff. This is a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment that offers variety, flexibility and encourages initiative, whilst providing excellent orthodontic care to our patients.
About you:
- You have experience as a Dental Assistant;
- You are sincere and caring;
- You are a team player with a great attitude and a strong work ethic;
- You would love to join us in a Full-Time role where you will be trained and well compensated;
- You are bright, highly motivated and take pride in your work;
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities/Skills:
- A focus on providing each patient with a positive, professional service;
- Strict adherence to the latest infection control protocols and standards;
- Ability to operate at a fast pace, providing assistance to our specialist Orthodontist and hygienists;
- Confident, happy, flexible, team orientated person, who cares about fellow team members and our patients;
- Ability and skills to work on reception as well as a chair-side Dental Assistant;
- Basic computer skills;
- Licence to operate an ionising radiation apparatus, (xray licence) is an advantage or willingness to complete the qualification;
- Willing to travel to all locations including Stepney, Gawler, Port Lincoln and Clare, travel is shared amongst the team and compensated.
