Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver high level clinical dental prosthetic services (removable prosthodontics) within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards with infrequent need for direct clinical supervision or advice.
- Apply independent professional judgement and problem solving in decision making and clinical management, handling an increasingly complex and varied dental prosthetic caseload beyond that of day to day practice.
- Provide high level professional advice and information to managers and members of the multidisciplinary team and other health professionals, internal and external stakeholders to enable provision of efficient and improved dental prosthetic services
- Liaise effectively with clients and their families. Assist in management of patient complaints relating to dental prosthetic services in consultation with the Principal Dentist, Caloundra and/ or the Service Director Oral Health.
