Dental Receptionist

We are looking for a Full-Time Dental Receptionist to join our modern dental practice. Working as part of our close-knit team, you will be the face of our practice and the first point of call for scheduling appointments, taking payments, and discussing treatment plans with our patients.

Your role will be fundamental to the day-to-day running of our practice, therefore, the ability to work as part of team and uphold the highest level of patient care are essential for success in this role. 

Daily tasks Include:

• All Reception work tasks; assist with patient accounts and patient & appointment book management; answering phone calls. 
• Developing and maintaining relationships with patients and clients
• Assisting clinical staff with instrument sterilization
• Maintaining facilities for patients and waiting family/friends.

The successful applicant will bring to the practice the following attributes:

• Excellent professional presentation, highly developed communication, and interpersonal skills
• Friendly and caring nature
• Professional phone manner
• Previous customer service experience is a must. 
• A dedicated team player with strong customer focus
• Proven ability to be punctual, responsible, and reliable.
• Be available four consecutive days a week. 

Experience with HICAPS & D4W a bonus but not essential.

We are a small business who have recently relocated our clinic to a bigger space so that we can continue to accommodate our patient’s needs as best we can. We believe in the importance of one-on-one care with our patients, and always endeavour to accommodate them where possible. Many of our patients have been coming to see our dentists for many years, and our long-term staff have developed close-knit relationships with our patients which we are very proud to maintain and build upon. 

We are located in the heart of Bondi Junction and are a 5-minute walk away from the Bondi Junction interchange where buses and trains come in. There is also commuter parking available in the Westfield, and several parking stations nearby. 

Because we are a smaller clinic, we have a close-knit staff who work very closely together and are looking for someone who can join our team and help us to provide the high standard of effort and care that we strive to give our patients on a daily basis.
