AddressKhan Dental Pty Ltd provides specialist oral surgery and dental implant services in Sydney and Rural NSW at three locations including Orange, Kingswood and Bankstown.
We are looking for a Dental Technicianwith the requisite knowledge and experience in planning and construction of surgical guides and prosthesis for dental implantology. The successful applicant will work and be responsible for duties including the following:
· Construct and mould plaster and wax models from impressions of the patient’s mouth/or teeth or 3 D Printing of the patient model, teeth and radiographic and surgical guide.
· Use the models to construct and repair dental appliances including dental prosthesis, implant guides, prosthetic appliances, and mouthguards using a range of materials.
· Polish and finish dental appliances with a high degree of attention to detail prior to being placed in patient’s mouth.
· Use a wide range of techniques including plaster casting, metal casting, metal polishing, wax modelling, ceramics, wire bending, electroplating and sandblasting.
· Use computer-aided design and manufacturing technology in the construction of dental appliances.
· Make appliances for patients with cleft palates and plates
The job will be full time (9am-5pm).
Successful applicants must have:
· Demonstrated knowledge of techniques and practices in constructing and repairing dental appliances mainly related to dental implantology
· Strong attention to small details and hand-eye coordination; and
· Excellent dexterity skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
· Minimum Bachelor or Diploma of Dental Technology; or
· At least three years of relevant experience
