The role involves managing software tools like R2 gate, Magics, 3 Shape, Exocad for Surgical guide, 3Ddenture, Crown, Crown bridge, Screw retained crown, Custom Abutment, Night guide, Special tray. Utilising 3D printers (Asiga / SprintRay) for creating surgical guides, custom trays, 3D models, dentures, andcrown bridges. Analysing CBCT scans and providing accurate diagnosis for dentists.
Extracting STL files from CBCT and print out it as the 3d printing model. Full Arch Restoration design. Troubleshooting issues related to the digital workflow.
Maintaining a log of repair jobs and maintenance activities. Qualification & Experience Australian citizens and permanent residents encouraged to apply. Minimum Diploma in Dental Technology or related field.
Over 2 years’ experience as a Dental Technician. Clinical experience and understanding both clinical and technical limitation are required. Understanding of anatomical structure.
In depth CAD/CAM, 3Shape, Wieland, VHF S1 and S2 experience. Knowledge in various dental implant system such as B&B Dental Implant, Megagen, Osstem, Dio, Dentium,Strauman and others. Knowledge of surgery related to the Dental implant surgery.
Knowledge of R2 PTE guide for the Root membrane technique, and the R2 Stockable guide for the implantsurgery as well as R2 BoneDeduction guide for the BoneDeduction surgery. Proficiency in using software tools like 3 Shape, Exocad, B4D for Surgical guide, 3D denture, Crown, Crownbridge, Screw retained crown, Custom Abutement, Night guide, Special tray.
