Following the appointment of Mr Greg Atterton to the position of Principal at Pulteney Grammar School, applications are now invited for the position of Deputy Headmaster/Head of Secondary School at Prince Alfred College. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading independent College to commence in Term 1, 2025. It is an exciting time for the College, with a new Strategic Plan, and an ambitious campus redevelopment program to take effect from 2025.
Reporting to the Headmaster, this critical role is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of all aspects of the operations and pastoral care programs of our Secondary School (Years 7-12). The Secondary School incorporates all operations at Kent Town, the Boarding House and the College’s two outdoor education facilities in rural South Australia.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding educational leader with a proven record of leading high-quality Secondary School programs. They will bring expertise in leading a large team and be committed to the pursuit of excellence in all areas. Demonstrable ability to design, drive and deliver on strategic priorities will be evident as will the capacity to manage the many competing interests attached to such a position. A natural leader, the next Deputy Headmaster/Head of Secondary School will blend presence, warmth and pragmatism with the desire to nurture strong and authentic relationships with all members connected to this highly engaged community.
