About the Role!
Reporting to the Undermanager & Production Coordinator as an integral part of the team, the primary purpose of this role is to drive operational excellence, safety culture and maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement of Millennium Underground Mine. The successful candidate will have a high level of problem-solving skills!

About the Role!

The minimum skills and expectations for this role are but not limited to:
- Currently hold a First, Second or Third-Class Certificate of Competency or Mutual Recognition;
- Current SOA for S1,S2,S3 & G2
- Ability to comply with the Safety Health Management System, Coal Mining Legislation and all relevant statutory requirements;
- Posses a strong work ethic with a great attendance record;
- Comply with site procedures, instructions, and equipment specifications and limitations to ensure effective and safe use of equipment;
- Have the ability to define and communicate performance goals and provide regular and objective feedback on performance;
- Have a strong leadership ability and be able to problem solve complex situations as they arise;
- Demonstrated Underground Coal experience in a similar role.
