Role: Dermal Clinician 

Employment type: Part Time 2 - 3 days with opportunity to grow. Must be available Tuesday, Friday and one Saturday a Month

 Salary: $35 - $40 per hour + Super

The Role

We are searching for a highly motivated and skilled Dermal Clinician with at least 1 year experience. You would be joining a team that is focused on delivering high quality treatments, resulting in long term results for their clients.

This role requires a Dermal Clinician that has experience in the clinical environment demonstrating exceptional ability to develop treatment and skincare plans tailored to the client who is also confident and competent in treating a wide range of skin conditions. Including treatments for acne, pigment and vascular concerns.  

• Create treatment and skincare plans
• Skin journey planning with homecare and in clinic treatments
• Addressing and managing acute/ chronic skin conditions 
• Have an in depth understanding of skin anatomy and sciences concerning the integumentary system 
• Providing exception care and building strong relationships with clients
• ability to work with scope and work collaboratively with other health professionals for best skin and overall health outcomes 
• Hair removal (IPL)
• Laser skin treatments (Laser toning, carbon laser and non ablative fractional)
• IPL skin treatments
• Skin micro-needling with Dr Pen
• LED therapy
• Medical grade chemical peels 
• Administrative & Housekeeping duties

About You

• Required to hold a Bachelor of Dermal Science, Associate Degree of Dermal Science or Graduate Certificate of Dermal Science or be in your final year of studies 
• Required to have a minimum of 1 year experience in the clinical environment
• Ideal to have experience with diathermy, IPL hair removal, chemical peels, TCA, Dr Pen microneedling and microdermabrasion
• Ideal to have experience with Aspect, Cosmedix, Dermaceutic, Propaira, Dermalist and Revive 7
• Must be available Tuesday and Friday and 1 Saturday a month.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Must maintain a professional appearance
