We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join Sydney Children's Hospitals Network’s (SCHN)
Communications and Engagement Directorate. In a collaborative and supportive environment, you will design and deliver information products, marketing materials and digital collateral, and coordinate design projects for SCHN, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, and other third-party supporters. The role is responsible for providing guidance and advice to a range of stakeholders to ensure consistent branding and identity of SCHN products.
What you'll be doingThe
Communications and Engagement Directorate is responsible for implementing the communication, media and engagement strategies, maximising positive communication opportunities, and promoting the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN), its facilities and associated institutions.This role provides a design service and professional advice and guidance to ensure consistent branding of SCHN and Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation (SCHF), across all information products, marketing materials and online platforms.
- Professional Graphic Design qualifications and demonstrated knowledge of and demonstrated experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud, including but not limited to Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and PowerPoint in an Apple Macintosh environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in liaising with diverse groups to provide concept advice and design direction.
- Excellent organisational skills and demonstrated ability to effectively plan workload and meet deadlines.
- Professional approach to work and commitment to attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and proven ability to operate in resource constrained environment.
- Capacity to work with minimal direction and to undertake a diverse range of tasks.
- Demonstrated skills in use of Microsoft Office including but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated exposure to web design, photography and video creation.
