As one of our Desktop Support Officers, your role will be to provide communication and technology support to Council stakeholders. In this role you will also procure and maintain user ICT equipment and devices and enhance user experience through appropriate induction and training in ICT policies, protocols and systems. Most importantly, you will provide a high level of service to all council stakeholders and act as a primary point of contact for internal and external clients who need ICT assistance.
About you The successful applicant will have Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or an equivalent combination of relevant contemporary industry experience and/or education/training. You will have demonstrated technical and diagnostic skills with the ability to adapt, perform effectively and communicate with influence, with a variety of situations, individuals and groups.
Most importantly, you will enjoy working within a team environment where you can provide support to others, problem solve, and deliver solutions.
