This role offers the opportunity to be out on the road, interacting with customers and ensuring timely delivery of our products. Additionally, when not engaged in deliveries, you will be based in the Despatch Warehouse, where you will assist with customer service inquiries and stores requirements. This dynamic role provides a balance of driving responsibilities and warehouse duties, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a multitasking environment.
This is a hands on and busy role and the successful candidate must have current WorkSafe issued forklift ticket.
To be considered for this role you will have;
- Current WorkSafe issued forklift ticket.
- Own reliable transport & current C class driver’s license.
- Current HR Drivers License.
- Demonstrated compliance with working within relevant company safe operating procedures.
- HIAB experience and ticket (desired)
- You will have the willingness to listen and communicate openly and honestly with both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Delivery of sheet metal, roofing, and associated goods within the metropolitan area.
- Safe operation of lifting equipment
- Load & unload vehicles
- Handle palletised freight
- Sorting of materials to racking and storage
- Picking and packing as required
- Customer service, both internal and external
- Perform manual handling tasks as required
- Operate in a safe manner at all times
- Work in compliance with all safe operating procedures
- Prepared to do overtime as required
Upon a successful interview you will be required to undergo a Medical including a Drug and Alcohol screening.
