Despatch Officer - Torrensville

What you will enjoy doing
You will be executing transport operations activities. support the administration activities required to deliver product to depots, customers and retail outlets within the zone and interstate
You will be responsible for ensuring the driver paperwork aligns with the work scheduled and product loaded
You shall liaise with the customer service, scheduler and/or account managers to support with customer enquiries and deliveries, connect with the drivers to communicate and execute the business requirements as they arise
Process and assemble picklists for the loads.Facilitate with shipment inspection, settlements and trip confirmations
Responsible for timely reporting of hazards, injuries, and accidents.Report non-compliances’ to Linde standards and/or local regulation to the business
Facilitate the execution of distribution strategy as directed by the distribution manager
What makes you great
You possess 1-3 years of experience in transport despatch role
You hold Secondary School Certificate with Logistics diploma, certificate or equivalent(preferable)
You come with knowledge of SAP systems and processes and MS suite, exposed to the use of scanners for deliveries
Adept in technology and have the ability to learn new IT systems
