Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineering Manager to join our Enterprise Technology Services to provide guidance and leadership enabling robust DevOps Practices to be delivered.

The DevOps Engineering Manager role involves providing guidance and leadership to deliver robust DevOps Practices to Cuscal, with focus on automation and proactive support capabilities. This includes uplifting the team, maintaining high standards, and driving best practices and development principles to achieve successful outcomes. The DevOps Engineering Manager also collaborates with other Leaders within Cuscal to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • technologies and tools that can improve processes, boost productivity, and reduce costs.
  • Ensure that the most appropriate toolkits are readily available to facilitate efficient delivery and operational support.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and agility, provide clear processes and tool access for engineers to support the rapid prototyping of product ideas and features.
  • Ensure Cuscal has the right environment strategy, CI/CD pipeline automation, SRE mindset to deliver faster and at the highest level of quality offering timely support and involvement in all aspects of platform management.
  • Enable and drive DevOps practices into engineering teams
  • Ensure that engineering deliverables adhere to Cuscal's defined standards and practices and conduct regular audits of engineering deliveries to verify compliance with these standards and best practices.
  • Build and maintain a cohesive team that works well together, fostering a culture of collaboration and communication, encouraging knowledge sharing, and providing opportunities for effective teamwork.
