About the Role:
We are excited to offer an amazing opportunity for a passionate, motivated and experienced Diagnostic Technician to join our Mercedes-Benz Service Team in Warwick Farm. To succeed in this role you will be someone who enjoys a challenge, working in a team environment carrying out practical and hands on activities.
The role will involve the following:
- Carrying out diagnostics on all vehicles across the Mercedes-Benz Car and Van ranges
- Liaising with Mercedes-Benz Australia technical department for support on technical issues
- Identifying and repairing technical issues
- Correctly completing all work as per Manufacturer Repair Times Guide and Peter Warren Retail standards
- Road testing vehicles
- Conducting quality checks on all work to help ensure vehicles are Fixed First Visit
- Completing Mercedes-Benz trainings as required
- Guide and mentor workshop staff
The successful candidate will need the following:
- Experience in the brand is preferable but not essential
- A current driver's licence
- A qualified technician
- Be passionate about the brand
- Ability to work in a busy service centre
- Be reliable and have a good work ethic
- Minimum 5 years experience as a technician
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent organisational skills
