CrewSELECT require a DIDO/FIFO Water TreatmentService Technician to work on Chlorine Gas and Water Treatment infrastructure across VIC.
Job Overview:
- Carry out service, repair, maintenance, and installation on Water Treatment and chemical dosing infrastructure.
- Assess and repair/service equipment returned from the field in workshop.
- Instrumentation works.
- Maintain up to date customer records.
- Perform general duties of carrying out both electrical and mechanical work.
- Working on sites including Watercorp, BHP, Rio Tinto, Alcoa, Chevron and many more.
- Blend of local, regional, and mine site work.
- Starting average package of approx. $145k per annum (Base + Super + Car + OT + Allowances)
- Salary: $80k to $90k base + full overtime penalties + super.
- Car + fuel card – Brand new kicked Ford Ranger.
- $140 per night ‘away from home allowance’.
- $700 on call allowance per week when on call.
- Living expenses allowance of $90 per day.

- 10 to 12 hour days.
- 5:2 - Monday to Friday work - occasional weekend if the job blow out or on call work comes up.
- Commencing immediately.
- Experience working with chlorine gas facilities and/or Water Treatment facilities is beneficial.
- Proven experience working as a service and maintenance on machinery and plant environments.
- Prior experience working with electrical and mechanical components.
- Basic fabrication skills would be beneficial.
- Ability to use initiative and problem solve.
- Be a self motivated person who has a high standard for quality.
- Motivated, positive, can-do attitude.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to travel as required.
- Attention to details “A perfectionist”.
- Able to read and interpret details drawings / plans.
- Able to work in a team or on their own when required.
- Happy to be on an on-call roster.
- Electrical License.
- LVR/CPR within 12 months.
- Construction card.
- Drivers license.
- Police clearance within 12 months.
- Instrumentation certification - highly regarded but not essential.
