SalaryYour new company is a well-established civil construction company with multiple decades of experience. They have multiple branches in their business and are currently in need of experienced Diesel Fitters to look after their fleet of mobile plant equipment and heavy vehicles.Role
In your role as the Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for all reactive and scheduled maintenance requirements both within the workshop and the field as required. You will be working with large civil/quarrying plant machinery and heavy road vehicles this will involve servicing and repairing the motor, hydraulics, and electrical over hydraulic components.Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant trade qualifications - Diesel Fitter/heavy diesel mechanic
- Minimum 3 + years post trade experience
- Strong hydraulic and electric over hydraulic knowledge
- Strong diesel motor knowledge
- Currently located in Townsville or looking to relocate there permanently
