An industry leader in the production & refurbishment of Trucks have opportunity for a Qualified Mechanic or Diesel Fitter to join their team in Eagle Farm or Willawong.Working within 2 different workshop teams you will be kept busy with repairs and maintenance of company & client waste heavy rigid trucks & assisting with annual servicing of fleet.
If you do not have heavy vehicle experience there will be training provided. This company is looking for someone with an eagerness to learn, but must be trade qualified in a mechanical trade.
About the Role:
- Routine maintenance and adjustments on Rigid Trucks
- Brake Alignments
- Day Shift & afternoon shifts available.
- Washing and re-packing bearings
- Sometimes performing general/routine welding and fabrication
- Travel between Eagle Farm & Willawong sites in work vehicle.
About you:
- Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Fitter OR Diesel Mechanic
- Experience with Hydraulics – Very Desirable
- Eagerness to learn & Attention to detail
- HR Drivers Licence – Preferred but not essential
- Reliable and Punctual
What we offer:
- Monday – Friday work
- $50 p/hr + Penalties for Days
- $57 p/hr + Penalties for Nights
- 8-10 Hour Shifts – with overtime potential
- Weekly Pays!
- Temp to Perm Role
