AddressOur Laverton workshop requires a trade qualified Diesel Technician to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position, working either a 7 x 7 (Wed to Tues, 12 hour day) or 5 x 2 (Mon – Fri) roster.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of all types of Caterpillar equipment and components.
Your typical day will look a little like this:
- Trouble-shooting, repairing and maintenance of Cat equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines
- Starting your day off in a Cats meeting, discussing safety & new topics
- Compiling and completing accurate reporting
- Working as a team to manage your time and maximise efficiency
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Work alongside a high performing team, who are passionate about the gear they work on
ABOUT YOU
You will bring the following skills, experience, and attributes to the role:
- A fully qualified Diesel Technician with practical experience
- Previous experience working on Cat machinery (great to have)
- A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
- A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment D&A screen and functional assessment
