Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join our dynamic team on a short-term contract basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in people's lives. The caseload is mixed, but we highly value experience in managing fussy eating and autism. You will be stepping into a full caseload, providing immediate support to our clients. The work will be a mixture between in clinic and in the community, we're looking to grow with you and look to extend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality dietetic assessment and intervention tailored to the needs of a diverse caseload.
- Develop and implement nutrition plans that address individual health conditions and dietary preferences.
- Work closely with clients, their families, and other agents to identify and support their health goals.
- Deliver NDIS services in a goal-driven environment, ensuring compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards.
- Participate in case reviews, conferences, and workshops to continuously improve service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and high-quality record-keeping, demonstrating competency with IT systems.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive service delivery.
- Adhere to organisational policies, procedures, and NDIS practice standards.
Skills and Attributes:
- Positive contemporary attitudes towards people with disability.
- Understanding of the impact of disability on individuals, particularly in managing fussy eating and autism.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt quickly to changing environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for NDIS participants and managing confidential information with discretion.
Essential Qualifications:
- Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives full members of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA)
- Experience and knowledge of home enteral nutrition.
- Relevant qualifications, registrations, and evidence of professional development as required by Conscious Healthcare SA and the NDIA.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of or lived experience in disability.
- Relevant qualifications in human services, allied health, or disability.
