About the role
Fixed term temporary full-time role, 76 hours p.f. ASAP to 26/06/2024 with possibility for extension.
The Nutrition and Dietetics department provides a comprehensive service to inpatients and outpatients within the North West HHS, across the continuum of care. Patients are seen locally and via videoconference across the wider region.
We work closely with our community partners to provide dietetics and alongside our other allied health teams to service patients of all ages.
Our team works with the food services department to provide inpatients with nutritious meals and snacks, and oversee clinical placements of students each year.
The clinical areas that the position may be required to work across include Cancer Care, Renal, Surgical, Emergency Department, General Medical, Intensive Care, Chronic Disease, Palliative Care, Paediatrics and Maternity in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Requirements
  • Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) credential.
  • C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
  • Pre-employment screening will be undertaken on the successful applicant including criminal history and working with children checks.
  • This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Tuberculosis and COVID-19.
