About the facility
The Centre for Education and Training leads an integrated approach to clinical education and training, helping Barwon Health to achieve its education goals by delivering, supporting and promoting coordinated, quality education and training across healthcare roles in Barwon Health and the South Western region. We comprise of an inter-professional team of educators and support staff across a number of disciplines that work together to develop the clinical workforce to model excellent practice, challenge poor practice and inspire others.
About the role
Do you have a passion for Learning and development, where you will be responsible for providing high quality Digital Learning solutions with evidence based education design principles? Do you have expertise in Visual Communication strategies to improve activity and performance? We have just the opportunity for you within the Centre for Education and Training team at Barwon Health!
  • Work in the Centre for Education and Training inter-professional team to plan, design, develop and embed high-quality Digital Learning solutions
  • Foster innovation and implement strategies that build our capacity in creating Digital Learning experiences that employ instructional design methods
  • Provide expertise in Visual Communication strategies to improve the Centre for Education and Training activities and platforms

Essential: Proven initiative and the ability to self-manage workload, including when working remotely

Desirable: One or more of: Relevant ICT qualification Graphic/Visual design qualification Project Management qualification
Desirable: Understanding of the role of technology, e-Learning and telehealth specific to healthcare training
Desirable: Visual, digital and/or graphic design experience
Desirable: Experience and/or knowledge of health professional education and/or education sector relevant to healthcare
Desirable: Knowledge of National, State and Regional strategies, plans, professional guidelines and standards relevant to work
