AddressMixed Ink is a large format Digital Printing and signage company based in Welshpool. We specialise in producing banner mesh, shade cloth and a wide range of signage products. We use state of the art technology and equipment and pride ourselves on supplying our customers with high quality products and great service.
We are currently seeking a full-time Print Operator and Finisher to run our HP LX1500 & LX3600 printers and banner welding & eyeleting machines. You will be responsible for printing and finishing printed PVC and mesh banners. The role is a permanent full time position, working 8am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday
Responsibilities of the position:
- Preparation and operation of our HP LX1500 & LX3600 for printing customer orders
- Ensuring exceptional print quality
- Collaborate with team members to ensure products meet client expectations
- Cleaning and maintenance of our HP LX1500 & LX3600 on a regular basis
- Finishing of banners and mesh rolls using our welding and automatic eyeleting machines
- Preparation of outgoing orders so they are complete and ready for collection/delivery
- Organise inventory and ensure stock is maintained
- Manage production schedules to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Follow safety protocols and procedures
- Other general warehouse duties as required
To be considered for this role you must:
- Have proficient computer skills
- Be fit and healthy to manage a manual role lifting heavy materials as needed
- Have a valid “C” Class drivers licence
- Be able to work independently or as part of a team
- Have strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Be friendly, motivated & energetic
- Have time management and problem solving skills
- Be able to work safely and efficiently
- Have a hardworking attitude and proactive approach to tasks
- Be punctual and reliable
- Have excellent communication and organisation skills
Preferred but non-essential skills:
- Experience in printing production is preferred, however, on the job training will be provided if required.
- Warehouse or workshop experience is also beneficial
- Have a valid Forklift Operator's Licence
