Would you like to:work for a National not-for-profit, respected and values driven organisation?receive tax benefits from accommodation and entertainment perks, living expenses on top of your base salary?be part of a culture that encourages/supports and celebrates our achievements?have the work flexibility of being in the comfort of your own home and office?utilise your exceptional communication and digital skills to create positive outcomes in a people driven organisation?If you replied with 'YES' to the above questions - 'APPLY' today.Role Purpose:This role will be responsible for working closely with communications leaders to build a social media strategy for all social channels together with a content calendar that will drive engagement as well as support program and organisational goals.Part of the role is to create and curate social content that is creative and compelling and connects with a digital audience, ensuring that language and look/feel are on brand and reflect the organisation’s strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:Oversight and day-to-day operational management of the ongoing delivery of the portfolio of social media channels for the Diabetes Australia Group, strategic programs, subsidiaries and campaigns, to deliver a high-quality experience. Channels include; Diabetes Australia (plus state/ territory presence), NDSS, My health for life, and Diabetes Qualified.Develop the social media strategy for these channels and work with communications leaders to build and manage respective content calendars. Drive growth and enhanced reach and engagement of social channels.Develop social media guidelines and supporting processes for the organisation (and distinct brands where appropriate) that align with organisational objectives.Create and curate compelling content for social channels that ensures strong engagement, consistency of message, and alignment to Diabetes Australia values and strategic objectives.Develop video, photo, other visual and written content as required for use in digital social channels.Day-to-day management and monitoring of social media channels.Lead campaign and marketing activity projects to contribute to broader communications strategies and plans.Required CapabilitiesTertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or a related field.5+ years of demonstrated experience in a comparable digital marketing role.Strong knowledge of social media marketing and broader digital communications.Ability to create and curate compelling social media (and broader digital) content for programs and campaigns. Strong knowledge and experience in the use of social media channels and proven experience using effective strategies and content to increase social media reach and engagement amongst target audiences.Demonstrated ability to build and manage a social media content calendar that aligns with program goals.
