About the Opportunity

Due to an internal promotion, a great opportunity has arisen for a Digital Transformation Leader to lead Digital Transformation programs and projects based at our Millicent Mill in South Australia. Reporting to the Projects & Compliance Manager, the position will develop, integrate and support Digital solutions that drive our manufacturing operations forward. The role is accountable for Mill Manufacturing Execution Systems Operational Availability, and PI Infrastructure and PI Vision development.
In addition you will:
Lead the ongoing development of all Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) programs within the Mill site
Provide technical and operational expertise as necessary to achieve quick and timely solutions to MES related problems within all site asset team areas. Trouble shoot issues impacting system functionality and integrity
Lead standard and non-standard report development for MES to support department objectives.
Develop and maintain other systems inputs into MES (e.g., PLC production tracking and other tags) for accuracy and information integrity
Lead and support the ongoing training and development of key users in all aspects of the MES system and its associated software applications. Develop shift team resources to resolve asset availability issues
Lead the development of troubleshoot platforms utilising live data for asset and reliability teams
Lead projects associated with Digitisation f Mill system both in Operations, Dsitribution, and Reliability
Lead a successful, high performing, collaborative team with a flexible interpersonal style to build a cohesive team; facilitating the completion of team goals
Integrate data from multiple services within an industrial environment to deliver functional information and insights
About you
Bachelors/Masters Degree in Information Technology/Systems
You will have detailed understanding of Management Information systems (Relational database and Microsoft software applications) with a high level of IT literacy
Familiar with systems structures and design
Detailed knowledge of Proficy – PI and excel, Thingworx, Power BI, PI Vision
Electrical and systems safety knowledge
Some knowledge of Visual Basic will be advantageous
