About the Opportunity

In support of this, the ASC Digital Transformation Program (DTP) Team are about to embark on the next Tranche of the DTP and will be delivering a roll out of an updated Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) technology with the associated people, process and data changes.  This implementation will be supported through an organisational objective to ensure our people are engaged and empowered to succeed in a culture of innovation in a digital world.

Due to exciting organisational change at ASC and an internal promotion, ASC have an opportunity for a DTP Program Manager to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis, based in Osborne, South Australia to lead this DTP Tranche.

Reporting to the General Manager Transformation Office, this position will be accountable for guiding the organisation through the overall DTP implementation, delivering the DTP program, managing the implementation partner, and leading the DTP Team.

While working closely with the Transformation Office leadership team, the successful applicant will provide leadership while maintaining a strategic perspective of the entire business, taking into account a wide range of longer-term issues, opportunities and risks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute and manage the DTP Business Case and associated funding
  • Develop and execute the DTP Implementation Plan
  • Set clear, and actionable goals to ensure delivery of the DTP Program objectives
  • Manage the implementation partner, software provider and associated contracts
  • Develop DTP Program frameworks for decision making and governance
  • Management of various stakeholders and a diverse team including the Board and various externals
  • Proactively identify processes within the department and assist the broader Transformation team to improve processes

About You

  • Qualifications in Project Management, Business Management, Information Management, Engineering or similar
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering large transformation projects preferably with strong technology roll out experience and in heavy industry
  • Demonstrated experience in commercially managing large external partner contracts
  • Outstanding relationship development and management skills with all levels of the organisation
  • Flexible in working with a diverse group of people understanding and able to work with different and opposing views on issues

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
