We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our boutique venue, where we pride ourselves on serving a small, focused menu that celebrates the rich flavors of our Far North tropical region and Great Barrier Reef. As part of our small, close-knit team, you'll have the opportunity to express your culinary expertise and contribute to an unforgettable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and execute seasonal dishes inspired by local tropical and indigenous ingredients.
Collaborate closely with our team to maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Consistently deliver exceptional flavors and textures that delight our guests.
Manage inventory, ordering, and kitchen operations efficiently.
Uphold food safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef, preferably in a fine dining or boutique setting.
Deep understanding and appreciation of local and indigenous ingredients.
Experience with uncompromising gluten free, dairy free and plant based dishes
Creative flair and passion for culinary excellence.
Ability to work effectively within a small team.
