Brookville Kindergarten is a community-managed kindergarten with a rich history of delivering high quality education and care to children and their families in the City of Stonnington. Position Description
Brookville Kindergarten is currently seeking an experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team. We are seeking a highly motivated educator who shares our values and who is willing to continue growing in their teaching practices. This is a permanent part-time fixed-term position, with the flexibility for additional hours considered for the right applicant.
Tasks & Responsibilities
The applicant should demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and staff; have sound documentation skills; thorough understanding of the National and Victorian Early Years Framework and Child Safe Standards; experience with inquiry-based practice, a willingness to be progressive and critically reflective; ensure compliance with the National Law, the National Regulations and the National Quality Standards.
Available days and hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; 8am -4pm.
- Thursday and Friday; 8am-5pm.
Additional hours for program and documentation support.
Flexible commencement date from Term 3, 2024.
Qualifications & Experience
- ACECQA approved Diploma level education and care qualification.
- A minimum two years working with children is recommended.
- Valid WWCC.
- Sound knowledge and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safe Standards.
