About the Role

Support delivery of the ME Business Plan by turning contact centre and self-generated leads into customers through providing great outcomes. This is achieved through living the Customer Promises, being quick and easy to deal with, expertly managing quality and risk and ensuring customers are informed every step of the way.

Focus is to grow the portfolio and exceed acquisition targets with the support of contact centre leads and drive New to Bank customers. Existing customers to be managed in a proactive way to retain as well as refer business.

Bankers will engage in their Local Area Marketing plan to be known as the face of ME and participate in Business activities to grow their personal brand. Work with local BOQ OM to deepen professional relationships and work collaborate to assist customers. 

About you
  • Established a core customer base with over 2 years competency experience as a Direct Banker
  • Proven experience in providing high level and efficient customer service
  • Knowledge and experience of working effectively with stakeholders
  • Good understanding of market and competitor developments
  • Technically sound in business development principles
  • Understanding of appropriate Regulatory Acts
  • Decision making - think, analyse and apply judgement to situations requiring a decision
  • Communication - listen, clearly and simply state your point of view and / or knowledge
  • Customer focus - understand and care about what the customer really wants

Customer

  • Delivers a quality customer experience every time
  • Be prepared and help the customer be prepared for every meeting
  • Make sure the customer is at the centre of all the decisions
  • Be proactive in customer focus activities i.e., Health checks

Team Collaboration

  • Works as part of a team
  • Contribute to team meetings
  • Shares knowledge with team / cross teams

Network / Building Advocacy

  • Attends and actively engages in Local community activity & participates in local business groups
  • Identifies opportunities for self & others
  • Takes accountability in contacting and/or referring to BOQ

  • Be an advocate of change / a change champion

Development

  • Elect to participate in working group/s
  • Shares best practices and coaches’ others
  • Identify /complete LYNDA, Kaplan and CCPD courses
