Director, eFIC Chief Operating Office

You are passionate about delivering strategic technology changeWe are executing of a range of operational, strategic and business transformation initiatives.Permanent role based in Sydney CBDSee yourself in our team:The Global Markets Chief Operating Office is responsible for leading and driving the strategic direction of the Global Markets business, as well as leading the operational effectiveness of activities that span across the Global Markets business such as the technology and change portfolio, transformation activities, and regulatory systems.Do work that matters:In this role, you will be accountable for delivery of strategic technology change across Fixed Income, Rates, Currency and Commodities.You will work with stakeholders of all levels of seniority across the Group as you assist in delivery of IB&M strategy, whilst ensuring ongoing awareness and review of risks.Further responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Work with Crew Lead, technology leads and performance leads to deliver key Objectives for Traded products platformsOn day-to-day basis lead the delivery team by providing business context, clarity and product visionWork with sales and trading business to capture business requirements, prioritise and relay them to technology development teamsMaintain a well prioritised backlog to deliver better customer outcomesEffectively communicate with senior business and technology stakeholders to ensure key priorities are well understood and agreed toLead and develop product roadmap including platform resilience and future scalabilityApply expertise to support prioritisation, balance trade-offs and explore strategies to successfully achieve business outcomesIncorporate tools such as design thinking and analytics to feed into product developmentFormulate hypotheses to validate customer problems and define clear learning objectives that will inform product roadmap and prioritisation decisionsAccountable for addressing any impediments, driving decisions and resolve any dependencies across other platformsProactively identify, articulate and manage risks and compliance across your productWork with various COOs, Line 1 & Line 2 Risk teams and Compliance ensure adherence to Global Markets policies across platforms you are responsible forWe’re interested in hearing from people who have:Previous experience as Product owner or Product Manager or Scrum master in Financial Markets technology delivery environmentScrum Alliance certification such as CSPO or CSM is mustSound knowledge of financial markets especially Foreign exchange, Fixed Income & RatesGood understanding of trading platforms is mustProven track record of delivery of large complex project is preferredProven track record of collaboration across multiple teamsStrong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesRelevant experience working in Agile deliveryAs the successful applicant you'll be rewarded with a structured career path that offers a competitive market salary, annual performance incentives, a flexible working environment and great career growth opportunities.If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through to submit a valid application.
