- Strategic Leadership: Drive the vision and strategy for onsite and digital audience experiences at Melbourne Museum, Scienceworks, and Immigration Museum.
- Creative Direction: Develop and implement a long-term exhibitions program, ensuring innovative and engaging content across all museum experiences.
- Revenue Growth: Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance philanthropic, corporate, and commercial partnerships.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with partners, community organisations, and government bodies, fostering collaboration and advocacy.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a high-performing team, promoting a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience in executive and creative leadership within major cultural institutions, with a strong track record in exhibition development and/or museum management.
- Expertise in Museology: Deep understanding of contemporary museums, exhibition design, digital innovation, and audience engagement practices, both nationally and internationally.
- Visionary and Strategic: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with our organisational goals and drive impactful audience experiences.
- Relationship Builder: Exceptional skills in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, partners, and community groups.
- Extensive executive and creative leadership experience in a major cultural or similar organization.
- Proven success in developing and delivering large-scale exhibitions and long-term exhibition programs.
- Superior knowledge of contemporary museology trends, exhibition development, digital innovation, and curatorial principles.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
