All Hallows' School is a Catholic Mercy school for girls from Years 5-12. Founded in 1861, the school holds a significant place in the history of Brisbane and Queensland as the state's oldest secondary school. For over 160 years the school has served the community through the provision of a faith-based, holistic education of the highest standard.
This pivotal role has responsibility for both the strategic and the day-to-day Business Operations of the school and performs the functions of a Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary to the School Board. With executive responsibility across key areas including finance, budget planning and reporting, compliance, risk and insurance and facilities management, the Director of Business Operations ensures that the Business Operations of the school operate in accordance with the school's mission, vision, values and strategic plan.
The Director of Business Operations is an integral member of the School Leadership Team and reports directly to the Principal. In discharging the responsibilities of Company Secretary, the role may also report on occasion to the Chair of the School Board on Board governance matters.

Successful candidates will possess the following core competencies:
- Educational and Professional Qualifications: A qualified accountant with a minimum of a bachelor's degree and professional certification (e.g. CPA, CA).
- Experience in Educational Administration and Governance: Demonstrated experience at a senior level in leading Business Operations, preferably within an educational setting or a similarly complex organisation, including experience as Company Secretary.
- Alignment with the school's Christian Mercy ethos.
