The College is seeking experienced professionals to lead the Community Relations and Marketing (CRM) Team. CRM is a service team to the immediate and broader Iona community, including current students and staff, as well as the Presentation Sisters, Parents and Past Pupils.
The Director of CRM will assist the Principal in creating and managing all aspects of Iona Presentation College’s marketing strategy. Key responsibilities of this role include:
Marketing
- Assist the Principal with the implementation and revision of the College Marketing strategy.
- Coordinate, oversee and attend programs and events that support enrolment targets.
- Provide guidance and support to the Registrar in the marketing of all enrolment and scholarships.
- Coordinate all print and advertising campaigns for the College.
Public Relations
- Develop processes and support links with local feeder Primary Schools and Parishes.
- Coordinate and assist with celebrations for significant events for the College.
- Manage relationships with local and state media and produce regular updates on College achievements and events for local newspapers.
- Work closely with the Iona Parent Council and its sub-committees.
- Coordinate online bookings for whole College marketing events.
- Work directly with the Iona Past Pupils’ Association (IPPA)
Media
- Together with the Media and Publications Officer, oversee the management of the College’s online presence; social media, website and portal, along with print presence.
Publications
- Oversee and collaborate on all College publications, alongside the Media and Publications Officer and Graphic Design and Publication Officer.
- Project Manage, edit and write the bi-annual IPPA publication, esprit de corps.
- Oversee all College photography for staff and students.
If you have a Degree and/or relevant qualification in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Digital or Social Media, we would love to hear from you.
The successful applicant will also have a warm and welcoming disposition and have demonstrated the ability to work well in a team environment. They will need to display flexibility, creativity and excellent attention to detail and be supportive of the Catholic ethos and the Presentation traditions and practices of the College.
