Your opportunity:
The Director of Medical Services (DMS) reports to and supports the Executive Director of Medical Services (EDMS), Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS) in the provision of specialised leadership and medical administration support and strategic management of Medical Services across the Fraser Coast.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). For further information regarding TB please visit Queensland Health website: Tuberculosis

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $514,353 p.a., comprising salary between $176,802 - $258,910 p.a., motor vehicle allowance, medical managers allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Overtime and on-call allowances will be negotiated with the successful applicant upon appointment. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value. (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
