Allura Partners has been retained on a fantastic opportunity to work for a fast growth, private equity backed SaaS organisation in a very niche field which is having a positive impact on communities. This role would be working with the founding CPTO across their product suite and leading the engineering function as they continue their growth.
This role can be based from anywhere remotely but with some travel to Brisbane where the CPTO is based.
You will be expected to lead and contribute to both strategically and technically, whilst being comfortable with high level of exposure and communication with leadership and the board. This role will suit someone who is strong on execution, proactive and can drive outcomes at pace. You must also be commercial first and foremost and tie in with the overall business goals.
There is a clear and ambitious, yet realistic growth plan related to revenue and ARR which will be achieved through geographical expansion and acquisition.
You will own two products/platforms initially with very different technology stacks and no plans to re-platform unless you have a commercial case to put forward that is.
1 - Azure, .NET Core, SQL, React/Angular
2 - AWS, PHP, Vue.js
You do not need experience with both but preferably will come from a strong .NET background and able to provide technical architecture and guidance. There will also be more acquisitions and decisions to be made around technology and people along with them.
You would initially have 3 direct leadership reports and team leads growing to at least 5 with total team size of 30 which you will grow to around 50 across product, software, QA, DevOps etc.
Ideally you will have scaled teams quickly before.
You also need to be comfortable running a small 5/6 person team in the US which will involve 1 or maximum 2 early morning calls around 5/6am per week depending on daylight savings.
