Job description

About the role

We are currently expanding our team to conduct single-service disability assessments in the ACT. The assessments comprise Ongoing Support Assessments (OSA), Supported Wage Scheme (SWS) assessments and Workplace Modification Scheme (WMS) assessments under the National Panel of Assessors.

  • OSA – assessments to determine appropriate levels of serviced support and assistance required by people who have disabilities to maintain their employment.
  • SWS – workplace assessments, measuring productivity and performance of work duties.
  • WMS – workplace assessments to identify disability-related barriers to employment and provide recommendations for workplace equipment and modifications to enhance the performance of work roles.

About you

This exciting opportunity is perfectly designed to complement your primary work role or cater to your business needs. The role's remarkable adaptability is a great fit for individuals seeking a smooth transition back into the workforce amidst parenting commitments or those wishing to reduce their work commitments. Although referral volume is not guaranteed, we anticipate it to be modest.

Embracing a positive and flexible work culture, assessments are to be completed within specified timeframes, with the scheduling of work dates and times negotiable to ensure suitability for all involved parties. Experience the diversity of workplace settings with most assessments conducted on-site, while report writing, and administrative tasks can be completed from the comfort of your home or primary office.

We offer competitive compensation for each assessment/report completion. We invite applications from individuals with an ABN (Australian Business Number) seeking contractor positions or those exploring the benefits of casual employment arrangements.

  • Professional assessment and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work within strict timeframes.
  • Sound skills in computer and IT literacy and security
