About the role

We are thrilled to share an exciting opportunity within the Better Health Network's Adult Community Options team for the position of Client Support Professional. If you are compassionate, motivated, and ready to make a positive impact, we encourage you to consider joining our dynamic team.

As a Client Support Professional, you will be an integral part of Cheltenham's Adult Community Centre, operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The role involves supporting individuals with various abilities, including those with high and complex support needs. Our programs encompass centre-based activities and community-based programs, and individualised support programs.

Key Responsibilities

·        Understand and support clients' goals and aspirations.

·        Proactively facilitate positive support to enhance the quality of life.

·        Collaborate with a diverse team to deliver interesting group programs and individualised support.

Roles Available

Part-Time over 5 days – 0.8 FTE

Part-Time – variety of days available

Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Responsibilities – As a Client Support Professionals

•                 You are committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.  

•                 You are dedicated to putting client choice and control first, ensuring to protect, promote, and uphold the rights of individuals with disabilities.

•                 You are committed to providing active day-to-day care, addressing individual personal care needs and ensuring dignity to those you support.

•                 You actively engage clients in various activities, providing support to enhance participation. Additionally, you are adept at supporting Behaviours of Concern in accordance with established Behaviour Support Plans, collaborating closely with site managers to ensure a comprehensive and tailored approach.
