Always Care Services is a privately owned company and operates as a Registered NDIS provider primarily located in South Australia serving all Adelaide metro since 2016.We are looking forward to helping the community in Melbourne, VIC, thanks to your continued support. We are a culturally sensitive, inclusive, and welcoming community where people with disabilities and those who are ageing, and their families are assisted in maintaining their independent lives. Our mission statement is “To make independent living more enjoyable and fulfilling while providing quality support to empower people with a disability”. We are looking to hire 10 Disability Support Workers/Staff in North- West parts of Melbourne VIC. We also offer flexible 24/7 shifts and competitive pay according to the SCHADS Award.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accompanying aged and disabled persons during daily activities
• Assisting clients with their mobility
• Preparing food for clients
• Arranging social activities
• Performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming and cleaning
• Assisting in personal hygiene and dressing
• Providing companionship, friendship and emotional support
• This is a Full-time Position and a current South Australian Driver’s License is essential.
• A flexible approach to working hours is required.

Requirements:

To be considered for a position of Disability Support Worker with Always care Services, you must have:

• Certificate III or higher in Individual support, Aged Care, Disability Services or Community Services
• Current NDIS Workers Check- Essential. 
• Working with Children Check- Essential.
• Current First Aid Certificate- Essential.
• Current Manual Handling Certificate
• Unrestricted Driver's License (Preferred)
• Medication Assistance Certificate- Essential.
• NDIS Worker Orientation, Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals and Supporting Effective Communication certificates. - Essential.
• Vaccination Proof (Desirable)
• National Police Certificate (Preferred)
