Job Title: Casual - Disability Support Worker - Caulfield South, Melbourne

We are currently seeking a caring male Support Worker with experience supporting high needs participants. Our client is a 23 year old male who is non-verbal and has severe communication difficulty, autism, incontinence, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and intellectual disability. He requires support for assistance with daily living, showering, toileting, grooming, eating, as well as regulating his challenging behaviours with positive behaviour tactics.
Shift Times:
Tuesday 9am - 6pm and
Saturday 9am - 5pm
- Must have experience with high needs participants
- Must be fluent in English
- Must have driver's licence and own car

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, empathetic and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to our participant located in Caulfield South, Melbourne, Victoria. Must be able to adapt to various situations with patience and understanding. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals with disabilities lead independent and meaningful lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-on-one support to participants in various daily activities.
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Supporting participants in developing essential life skills and achieving their goals.
- Promoting community engagement and social inclusion.
- Documenting participant progress and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or a related field
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Employee Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
