Beacon Support is a registered provider of Disability Support services and we take the care of our participants and the support of our workers seriously.
We have a participant in Brighton who is seeking dedicated female Support Workers, who are fit and active and have good English language skills.
We are looking for people who are reliable, show good common sense, are confident at engaging with participants and genuinely work as an active Support Worker at all times.
The shifts we are looking to fill are sleepover shifts - starting at 4pm, with a sleepover from 10pm to 6am, and then a follow on shift till 9am. These shifts are available on both weekends and weekdays. We do have availability at other times, and in other locations across the northern suburbs, but please do not apply if you cannot commit to these shift times at least twice a week.
Role Requirements
- Active females with experience supporting people with a disability
- Certificate III in Disability/Aged Care/Individual Support or similar would be preferred, however Nursing students are also encouraged to apply
- Current First Aid and CPR
- NDIS worker screening card & Blue card
- Current drivers’ licence and your own reliable vehicle
- Eligibility and right to work in Australia - good English language skills are a must
- Availability for sleepovers with hours from 4pm to 9am
