Form of workUniting is currently looking for flexible and dedicated Disability Support Workers to engage with participants across Western, North Western, South Western and Inner Sydney. About the Opportunity
- SCHADS Level 2 base rate starting from $29.12 per hour, with additional penalty rates, superannuation, and salary packaging benefits.
- Permanent Part-Time (20 hours or more per fortnight).
- A fixed roster with a combination of weekday and fortnightly weekend shifts is required. (candidates that can work weekends only will be considered)
What you will be doing;
- Aiding with daily life activities both at home and in the community.
- Supporting individuals with their educational and work-related endeavors.
- Facilitating access to various community, social, and recreational activities.
- Assisting with transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements.
Who we are looking for;
- Previous experience or qualifications in disability or aged care are desirable but not mandatory.
- Possession of a valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Check is necessary.
- A NSW Drivers license and comprehensive car insurance are required for the role (can be on Green P Plates)
- Holding a current First Aid Certificate is also a necessary qualification.
