Southern Cross is seeking motivated, caring, and committed people to provide support to assist people living in their own homes to enable independence.
Team members receive support to achieve the skills required to deliver individualised Disability Support services – a great opportunity to improve and enhance your skills or transition from a different industry.
Disability Support Work is an important and rapidly expanding industry with high levels of satisfaction and security.
What Support is being provided :
Liverpool and Revesby group homes have male participants with Traumatic Brain Injuries
- Assistance with personal care tasks
- Medication administration
- Assistance with therapy tasks
- Use of mobility equipment
- Light domestic assistance
- Meal preparation and Community participation
- Add any other specific duties
- Hydrotherapy
- Swimming proficiency
Shift Times
Shift times available are:
- 7am to 3pm alternate Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
- 3pm to 11pm alternate Monday
- 11pm to 7am alternate Friday (inactive/sleepover)
- 3pm to 9pm every Monday and Friday
- 8pm to 7am alternate Wednesday (active)
Requirements
- Current references
- Mobile phone
- Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle - essential
- NDIS Worker’s Clearance or willing to obtain
- First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
