Care AU health & Community is looking for male Support Worker to join our team. The role involves providing quality services to participants who are funded by NDIS. This position offers flexible hours, a higher pay rate. We are looking for applicants with relevant qualifications, experience.

Responsibility
We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to support people with disability. You will make different in some one's life by providing support to participant.

- Provide supports and services in a safe and competent manner with care and skill.

- Promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that may impact the quality and safety of supports and services provided to people with disability.
- Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to all forms of violence against, and exploitation, neglect and abuse of, people with disability.
- Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to sexual misconduct
Requirements
- Certificate III/IV in Disability/Aged Care/Individual Support or equivalent industry related qualification
- Previous experience in aged care and/or disability is preferred
- Current Victorian Drivers’ License
- Current comprehensive car insurance on your private vehicle (to be used for work purposes)
- Right to work in Australia
- Current NDIS Screening check or willingness to complete
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability and willingness to work in a diverse range of settings including but not limited to a person’s home or place of residence, other services, community groups, and other community settings
- Understanding of Work Health & Safety requirements
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
- Working with Children (WWC)
