The role:
We are seeking committed Disability Support Workers for ongoing shifts in Dandenong, Noble Park, Endeavour Hills, Pakenham, Clyde, and surrounding suburbs in the South Suburbs of Melbourne. If you have experience in Disability Support, this job may be great for you!Ongoing shifts with various times available.

Essential criteria:
- Minimum of 12 months paid experience in supporting people with disabilities.
- Current National Police Check clearance no older than 6 months.
- Must have High Manual Handling Skills e.g. transferring people with hoist.
- Must have High Challenging Behaviour skills such as physical and verbal aggression, absconding, self-harming.
- Willing to obtain required certificates to excel as a Support Worker
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance.
- Comprehensive car insurance is essential.
- Covid-19 fully vaccinated.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Employment Working with Children’s Check.
- Two relevant, professional and industry related reference checks.
- Valid Victorian Working with Children Check and Driver's License.
- Availability to work a 7-day roster which will be a combination of shifts including mornings, afternoons, active night shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Basic computer literacy skills
- Valid Driver License and your own, reliable vehicle (compulsory)
- Access to a vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- ABN Requires
Qualifications & experience:
- Qualifications such as a Certificate III in individual Support (CHC3315), Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) (CHC33015) or Certificate IV in Disability (CHC43115).
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
- NDIS Orientation
- Previous work experience in aged care, disability, home and community care or nursing
