About this opportunity
We have an opportunity for passionate individuals to join our dedicated team in Launceston on Casual basis, the ability to provide sleepovers to support our participants is must. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will use your skills to work in our team to deliver high quality support services, supporting team members and working towards achieving client goals and outcomes.
As the ideal Team member, you would need to:
- Show a dedicated commitment to the NDIS Code of Conduct.
- ensuring high quality supports are being delivered.
- be good at communicating with others.
- understand that the person you are supporting is at the centre of everything you do.
- understand that the person we support is an individual, with their own identity, needs and aspirations.
- be flexible, adaptable, resilient.
- a knowledge of contemporary practices in the disability sector.
- a flexible and positive attitude/ approach to their work.
- proficient with the use of Technology such as smart phones and tablets.
Essential requirements of the role:
- Driver’s license essential & Insured Vehicle.
- Working With Vulnerable People Card.
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification.
- NDIS orientation module and effective communication module.
- Covid 19 Vaccination Status and Covid 19 Infection control modules.
- Previous experience in the disability or aged care sector.
