About Us: Wharf One Food & Wine is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Dishwashers / Kitchen Hands to join our dedicated team. Located at the picturesque resort setting in the Darwin Waterfront Precinct, we offer stunning views of Stokes Hill Wharf and the Darwin Harbour.
Position Overview: As a Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in our commitment to creating unforgettable experiences through exceptional food, beverage, functions/events, and customer service. Job Responsibilities:
- Dishwashing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks.
- Supporting kitchen staff in day-to-day operations.
- Ensuring hygiene and sanitation standards are met.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English for effective communication with kitchen staff.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and a team player.
Wages: based on Restaurant Industry Award 2023 Standards
- Permanent Part time: from L1: $23.23 per hour, minimum 30 hours per week
- Full-Time: Salary based on minimum 38 hours per week. Holiday and personal leave accrued pro-rata, with salary determined by level of experience. Looking for a contract up to a 3 year period.
