Dispatcher/ Freight Handler

Fatz Fabrication is a manufacturing and product installation business based in Rockhampton QLD. We produce premium standard stainless-steel Snorkels, exhaust systems and various induction related products for the 4WD industry. We have been in operation since 2009 and are well established within the industry. We have a team-oriented culture and work as a team to work towards ongoing and immediate goals and commitments.  

Fatz fabrication is looking for an additional team member for an immediate start to come on board in our final Assembly and dispatch department. Attention to detail and attitude to continually improve process and efficiency is vital. 

Main work duties will include:

- Quality control of finished product to ensure consistent standard of product is dispatched.

- Packaging finished product through a set process, ensuring care and attention. 

- Labeling and managing storage of finished components to avoid any damage end ensure ease of locating items. 

- Managing receipt and dispatch of general freight items as well as Fatz Built product. 

- Generating consignment documentation accurately, cross checking all information to ensure accurate shipping of goods to our valued customers. 

Experience 

Experience of 1-2 years in freight handling or warehousing is preferred. knowledge around freight systems and consignment generation would be greatly valued.

Successful applicant will be employed on a casual full-time basis, with opportunity for full time permanent employment.

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Salary: $48,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year

• 4.5 Days, Early finish Fridays.

• Monday to Friday.
• Overtime when required.
