We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.The Dispute Coordinator will drive process standardization and define standard operating procedures, identifying root causes and opportunities for enhancing customer experience through the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. This presents an exciting new opportunity wherein you will oversee disputes, bolstering commercial and financial success processes to enhance cross-functional collaboration, and ensure seamless communication with stakeholders in these domains. This position is located in Cornellà de Llobregat, Barcelona. In this capacity, a typical day will include:Develop and implement effective collections strategies and procedures to maximize debt recovery while maintaining positive customer relationships.Review and evaluate delinquent accounts, determining appropriate actions to be taken in accordance with company policies .Communicate with customers regarding their outstanding debts, negotiating payment plans, settlements, or other resolutions.Prepare regular reports on collections activities, presenting data and insights to upper management.Serve as a liaison between customers, customer operations and distribution departments regarding specific disputes, providing customer support, and coordinating and negotiating in a cross-functional environment with departments such as Finance, Logistics, and Pricing to resolve any issues that may arise in disputes.WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.Substantial prior experience in roles such as Team Leader Collector or similar, involving liaison and negotiation with multiple stakeholders.Fluency in English and Spanish.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent goal orientation, collaboration abilities, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in analytical skills, making decisions based on data analysis and prioritization.HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:● Manage your own workload and schedule while hitting your set targets● Collaborate with teammates to share the best practices and learnings as work evolves● See your career like never before with focused growth and development opportunitiesAlcon CareersSee your impact at alcon.com/careersATTENTION: Current Alcon Employee/Contingent WorkerIf you are currently an active employee/contingent worker at Alcon, please click the appropriate link below to apply on the Internal Career site.
