Diverse Learner Case Manager
Part-time (approx 0.6FTE), continuing position

The College is currently seeking a Diverse LearnersCase Manager to work in conjunction with the Diverse Learners team to develop programs and implement strategies that support students with diverse learning needs. This position commences in Term 2, 2024.
The St Rita’s College Diverse Learners program caters to a wide range of student needs, abilities and interests and assists students in meeting personal and academic goals and challenges.
The Diverse Learner Case Manager provides case management of learning for students with diverse learning needs, through strategy-based initiatives, supportive encouragement, and mentoring. This position is approximately 0.6 FTE which consists of case management and a teaching load. Required days are Mondays & Tuesdays plus one other day.
ABOUT YOU
- Able to coordinate and develop PLPs, ICPs and AARA applications in consultation with parents, teachers and outside experts.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement curriculum differentiation and appropriate modifications to classroom and assessment tasks for students with diverse learning needs.
- Ability to contribute to the submission and moderation of NCCD Data; ensuring that students in case load are provided with adjustments as per their support plan and assessed needs.
- Proven ability to provide a role model of an effective classroom teacher who draws on relevant, contemporary best practice.
