  • Full-Time, Permanent (36.25 hours Mon-Fri)
  • $68,692 - $70,304 per annum
  • 6 Weeks annual Leave (FTE) with 17.5% leave loading

About the opportunity

This role requires excellent communication skills, high-level organisational skills and the ability to lead a team.

In this role, you will be:

  • Responsible for customer service in cluster divisions.
  • Responsible for divisional administration in cluster divisions.
  • Responsible for communication between community, stakeholders, the elected arm of Council and the Executive Team of Council.
  • Able to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team through ongoing performance appraisal and liaise with People & Wellbeing with regards to identified performance needs.

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Business Administration or relevant nationally recognised qualification.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Desirable C Class open licence (operate a manual vehicle).
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency using the MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organisational skills including the ability to meet deadlines and managing competing demands.
  • The ability to be culturally responsive by demonstrating an understanding of the issues affecting Torres Strait Islander people and communicating with sensitivity and effectiveness.
  • Possession of a Blue Card or eligible to obtain a Blue Card Working with Children.
