About The Role
The DMPT Driver Instructor position facilitates and delivers Transport training courses and assessment in accordance with continuous improvement framework, AQTF standards and Transport values, direction, and code of conduct, focusing participants on outcomes required, managing time, and encouraging cooperation and autonomy from learners.
Duties:
- Under supervision and with support and assistance, the incumbent conducts training programs in a professional manner including:
- Identification of any issues and timely notification to the Business/Contract Manager.
- Assist to prepare facilities, equipment (including vehicles on site and client vehicles when at client sites) prior to commencement time of all courses.
- Assist to provide evidence used in assessment and evaluation is verified against the course rules of evidence.
About You
Skills & Experience
- Commitment to completion of TAEASS412, TLIM0011 and other requirements of the Assistant Driving Instructors course.
- Be an Australian Citizen and undergo an Australian Security Baseline check to obtain and maintain a defence security pass.
- Full Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Desirable Transport industry experience.
- Desirable Medium/ Heavy Rigid Licence
